The only way that Gomi can have the last laugh over Moyupu is to have sex with Yumezora one last time before anyone else turns up.

BTW one of the reasons the "this is how I planned to end the manga all along" claim by the author is probably false is that they never did anything with that page heavily implying Yumezora was impregnated by moyupu during her affair with Gomi
She has apparently been married to him for several years, so it's unlikely the first time she was "impregnated" by him. She implies elsewhere that she terminates the pregnancies every time she gets pregnant by Moyupu, by pill or abortion, because she doesn't want his kid and never did. It's annoying as hell that Japanese authors don't explicitly state these things more often, they are addicted to being vague even when the manga is this explicit about other stuff. It's a really annoying trope in Japanese manga writing.

ALSO, a lot of people are confused, so here is an important note:

This isn't the End, despite the name. There is one more chapter coming. Author states this on Twitter himself.

What a dumb af ending. They have no traceable passports, paid for everything by cash, don't have work visas, and he randomly finds them in Indonesia in a flower field. What a dumb fucking author.
maybe he's daydreaming this whole trip and moyupu breaking through his delusion on his last breath

I actually had hopes that this entire story all about a vicious brutal cycle was going to end in a very satisfying way, that we can appreciate something out of it whether it ends tragically nonetheless or in a "we break the cycle against all odds" approach. Though this looks like the tragedy we have been expecting, this sudden twist is deeply unsatisfying. The author's just toying with the audience now, and you could argue it's an artistic choice, the story is getting ruined by this whim of the author as a consequence. The only way this can be salvaged to some extent is if, like others commented, this was all a dream/nightmare. That doesn't fix the entire story though because the title literally is about a cycle of violence. What happened to all the stuff about "cycle"? This could have been a true masterpiece, but of course, it's just violence porn at the end of the day. At this rate, you gain nothing from reading this.

One possible silver lining I can take from this though is if I look at this from a meta-ish perspective. The author is trapped in their own cycle of writing shit endings, and this story is no different. Quite poetic if that's the case.

That's so stupid lol. Great comedy drama manga, but i don't know if the mangaka managed to achieve what he wanted with the story, maybe he didn't want anything special...

im still tweaking out about this bullshit dude. i get the author wanted to be metaphorical and artsy and i think i understand it's like, the cage of violence shes stuck in traps her like an infinite cycle. but dont things that happen in a story have to make logical sense??? the rest of the story has been so grounded in reality and you want me to accept that this fuckin guy just teleported to a field in some other country to kill her like what???? how did he find them? how did he know where they were? how did he recover so quickly? how did he know they would be in this field? why wasn't this foreshadowed?? did i miss the foreshadowing???? this really came out of nowhere and i wish the story could have ended in a more logical way.
