Im glad they actually show the effects of years of abuse, i felt that that eas a bit missing at times and im happy to once agai see that he has friends that support him. Tho tbh at this point, im more intersted in the story of redemption for the childhood friend
It'll be really funny when he goes and asks her if she'll be his girlfriend and she's just like "WTF are you talking about, dude? I thought I already was."

Not that he's not sure she likes him (he's 1000% on that) but not sure she'd actually be willing to be his girlfriend after years of being told he can't possibly do any better than Hanabi, that she's doing him a favor with her abuse, that he's literally less than an animal.
