Nanao is definitely my favourite villain in the series so far, so she was planning this whole thing with a third party, probably Miyabi's sister, but she looked way too excited for someone who simply gain some benefits. Does she actually want Souma or perhaps something or someone else?
Either way things starts to get really interesting and I'm looking forward for what's comes next, even though nobody here seems to agree with me on that XD

I knew this would happen, because the drink was suspicious and That girl is hiding something from MC,From the beginning the girl was suspicious at the beginning behind the kindness even accusing without evidence, even he lchildhood friend is trapped and there is no way out, and the girl calls MC and says that something is suspicious, there must be a plan behind it. ,MC is easily fooled, including his childhood friends.

Yep, he receives blame for even entertaining this bs of hers, as soon as she said "I have evidence that she's cheating on you" I would've just laughed, replied with "ight" then kept it pushing


He was literally warned about her, saw first hand how conniving she is and still decided to hear her out as if she had anything of substance to even show

The red flags were literally thrown at his face and in that moment he got instantly inducted into Weave Nation

On a meta level, i find it intriguing how despite its trashiness, people are still motivated to continue reading, and got worked up enough to explode the comments thread (over a hundred posts within the first few hours of the chapter's release). I'm curious, what are the common elements between dumpster fire stories that we kept loving to hate (think domekano, kanokari) vs those that we just said "meh" and dropped without so much as a peep into the comments section. Surely there's something (likely perversely) appealing in the former dung heap that still hooks us in to keep us returning to them that the latter lack.

Also if you've made this far into the comments section (14 pages at the time of writing) to read this humble post of mine, then wow, you deserve some kind of award for such perseverance & dedication 😁.
