The author’s really bad at math then if she thought that, because volume 2 feels like it was written for a completely different audience than the one that read volume 1.

That's another entire level of conversation and differences on the japanese see things vs how we see things and whatnot, and I don't think you want to start that because it's calling a shitstorm. A lot of situations in manga wouldn't fly on our publishing sphere, that's for sure. And there is the hentai scene which is its own can of worms. And also at what point who we westerners think we are to impose morals on anyone else kind of discussion. Don't do that, you are just going to stir a pot of eldritch abominations and you only will gain psychic damage because you will read the most unhinged and vile stuff.

It's easy to get desensitized to certain stuff when you get into certain genres of manga and the the "she deserves to be gang raped for being abusive towards his boyfriend" crowd is proof of that. You need to be grounded when reading manga and watching anime or else you are ending spewing vile shit like that. Check things with reality and touch grass, that's what you have to do when reading this kind of stuff.

My point was that she doesn't deserve what he was suggesting. I'm also not so sure when Hanabi tried to have Ichinose murdered either. I remember her setting Kirigaya and his lackies on him, but that's about it. Remember how this story starts? Then laughs about it in front of him.

just because its fictional doesn’t mean its consequence free like the author is quiet right now JP readers are mad as well because this manga isnt what people signed up for the story went off a different direction and if the author wanted to do a dark story then write it correctly instead of putting out nonsense switching up from school drama and childhood abuse to people getting drugged and black mailing and forced prostitution was unnecessary and just an excuse to write whatever without putting thoughts into it.
