Barring the extra details courtesy of Cross, first manga that came to mind as a "Oh, so this is kind of like..." for me was The Dreaming Boy is a Realist. Suppose the question becomes which protagonist is gonna piss me off more, the one in this or Dreaming Boy lolA hardcore tsundere childhood friend who can never be honest about how she really feels. This manga feels like a mix of Golden Time and White Album in terms of themes and drama. It also gives off vibes similar to Ore ni Trauma wo Ataeta Joshi, Nyanta to Pomeko: Imasara Shinjiteiru, Osananajimi Kanojo no Morahara and Anta to Osananajimi tte dake demo Iya nanoni!. MC is kinda like Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, but wrapped up in a bunch of drama involving 3 problematic girls. Meanwhile, there's only one girl who's actually normal. the blonde gyaru senpai on the manga cover
so it's a trauma dump rather than an actual story, that explains the stupid ass premise, the author just can't let go of his shitI thought this seemed familiar, turns out the author made another downer story about severing ties with girls because of misunderstandings.
If i remember correctly he already reset her once in the past, i think by accident. It's probably that she knows about his resets since they're childhood friends and have probably talked about it. she just realised he used it again and on her this time.
Probably, i had the same idea while reading the novel. Don't think it was clearly addressed though...So he has Autism?
I think so too. Most likely from a group that got banned here.Didn't this one already have a few chapters translated or am I thinking of something extremely similar?
There's other stuff (like getting kidnapped for his mental abilities, being thoroughly brainwashed and used as a child terrorist for most of his elementary school years) .I think its because of self hypnotism, he did it to himself a lot of times to the point he became fucked up.
This is the reason the Light Novel got discontinued/axed btwWell i agree if you look at it from MC's perspective... She did explain and redeem herself, and from the last part i saw, she was winning over they gyaru by a lot. Well mostly because the gyaru decided to step aside for her.
I think its kind of the same in, Summoned to world as a hero , but the world is at peace, but less extreme. But it is always head-scratching, the authors can clearly make character people like, and one they don't, yet they always seem to give those traits out in reverse, like dude make your favorite character likeable and vice versa, you are literally the author. And then they are always shocked, like why isn't my fav the popular one? This is the reason the Light Novel got discontinued btw
People liked Gyaru over Childhood Friend but as usual that author doubled down on CHF and did the classic humiliation ritual making the gyaru handling the win over to childhood friend.
This also happened this other series with a childhood friend heroine disliked by fans that had the author favouring her and got the manga axed as consequence.
This series manga isn't doing good beyond it's debut chapters, people were already hating the author's bias and likely will last less than KoukouWeb and get the axe too.
Gonna be honest with you bro, I've read those, it feels the comparison with this series is a mockery of those above.A hardcore tsundere childhood friend who can never be honest about how she really feels. This manga feels like a mix of Golden Time and White Album in terms of themes and drama. In Ore ni Trauma the author has the best girl the winning girl, you don't just have the heroines kneeling down to the one chosen by the author and expect readers to eat that shit.I think its kind of the same in, Summoned to world as a hero , but the world is at peace, but less extreme. But it is always head-scratching, the authors can clearly make character people like, and one they don't, yet they always seem to give those traits out in reverse, like dude make your favorite character likeable and vice versa, you are literally the author. That being said I do like the trauma one, the MC reminds me of Tatsuya from Mahouka but in a non magic setting and im serious curious to see it go harem and/or incest which would be something new.
The web novel is on hiatus since 2022ah yes, my daily manga base on ln that already put on hiatus
