I thought that at first but given the manga's theme I was wondering if it was because she is doing the same thing he is. She's probably the only friend the ojou-sama had growing up (thus why she freely reprimends Reika) and now is trying to keep the crazy master from ruining the family to maintain her good salary and (maybe) easy work.
