...it's tough following 100gf because similar story beats would give the readers like myself the thought "I kinda read this already with the Eiai-Mimimi clash." Personally hope this manga takes a different approach or else it'll be the otome villainess epidemic all over again.
I watched season 1 of 100gf and didn't like it so I won't be continuing it, I like this 1 though so I will be, even if all it ends up being is an upgraded version of 100gf

This would be a good time for Yuu or one of the other girls to assert themselves and say they don't have to agree to these terms and aren't bound by them. It's up to Yuu who dates him and which of her keep existing.
The star eyes have to be an oshi no ko reference, and the yandereish attitude, she is Ruby isn't she
Maybe, but I think the star eyes are how manga often represents a character being manic.

Am i crazy or did the mangaka/author change how them existing worked? I thought they had like a day or two to become his GF or they'd die

Much like Yuu managed to change its mind about the fulfillment condition, the charm seemingly has the power to decide the deadline on its own, or at least it never actually specified any particular rule about it. The first time, they only had until after the school the same day so around 8 hours at best; the next time, an entire day longer, for some reason. Not enough to extrapolate a definite pattern.

Just what is that talisman really is? Its too powerful for it to be able to distort their world.

This one is Bitch-chan. I wonder if there will be a Slut-chan or at least a Horny-chan, since we're taking personality fragments and exaggerating them.

Starting to see where the self loathing came from that spawned the wish to just disappear...
Honestly, all girls we've seen so far seem like a perfect storm to majorly mess up and develop serious issues. Himeka is basically an aesthetic conscious lazy slob, Kumaka is a literal living mass of anxiety with major trust issues and Galka is an overly optimistic chatterbox. We've already seen how Kumaka's formative bad memories come from Karin's upbeat and hyper personality, so the idea of the full Karin being a full scale mess of a woman isn't that strange.

Do you have any other insights? I was wondering about your perspective.

Hmm... I see, I see. So that must mean the main objective will be to (1. Get the full harem. and 2.) Fix all of Karin's problems. And considering it was enough to split her into (potentially) 7 completely different people, Yuu's got a lot on his plate.

I'm putting money down right here, right now. The end of this manga will be marked by Yuu fulfilling both these goals. All of the Karins' issues are resolved, and as a result, they will all merge back into one, full, sole Karin. Then they'll live happily ever after.

Yes, personally I also consider the merger to be the most logical ending for the story. Plus, we still didn't learn why exactly Karin wished to disappear in the first place, beside some suggestions with Kumaka's past.

ah yeah we got the Kiki/Mimimi combo, narcissist idol to the max

Our first serious arc I feel
Being fair, Kumaka's arc was also more serious than Himeka and Galka's arc. It literally show us first glimpses of why Karin might have wished to disappear.

Well generally speaking if she was having self-esteem issues then the sudden self love of the 1st two's relationship, hime and gal, would be at odds with that. Not to mention how KumaKaren was surprisingly able to come out of her shell at all.

I'm also noticing we're getting the parts of Karen that she likes the least about herself in order of what she dislikes least. Like she's trying to present our male MC with the parts of herself she thinks are good as a shield and that going forward from this on we're going to see parts of herself that she either outright dislikes or are the core root of her self-loathing.

@Grogzilla You know, it's a lot more constructive to explain why you disagree with my rebuttal to you (and others) here than to slap a "dumb" reaction to it and act like it's self-explanatory.
