I guess I'll stop complaining about local translated manga prices, because I don't know what magic they need to cast for R$43,13 to become just R$44,90 after taxes and all that distribution "goodness"

Just a quick correction: the 1299 yen you saw is most likely the price for the physical version of the manga.
If you still want to support it and think it’s expensive, there’s also the digital version on Bookwalker, and it costs around ¥770. It usually works fine with credit cards, though here in Brazil we have an IOF tax on international purchases. In the end it comes out to around R$27, maybe a few cents more — unless they give you a discount coupon. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Yes, I was referring to the physical version! Like, it costs around 44 reais before taxes, and most manga when brought here (from Panini :pout: in this case) cost around 50...
That looks like magic to me, whether I like the distributor or not
