stick to ragebaiting bro thinking is not your forte
It's true doe we have never seen the older brother act maliciously yet the younger brother avoids him and treats him as the reason he can't trust girls instead of the fact the girls were shitty and his brother was just there. He's being a shitty little brother to him because he's an insecure brat and he also pushes that prejudice onto Houjou too and views both of them as antagonists.
Are you mentally slow? This has been the entire main conflict of this story. 😂

he's never been shown to dislike his brother moron, every time he talks about girls getting close to him because of his brother he only talks about them being shitty, but obviously he's gonna feel insecure about the whole situation as any kid his age would

looks like you've been ragebaiting so much you've fried your brain, stop trying to analyze shit it ain't for you

The story is from the younger brother's perspective and he views his brother as a perfect guy whose ruining his life so of course we don't see him as anything more than that because the younger brother is a selfish brat who avoids connecting with his brother and that's our pov too.
The main character being insecure doesn't mean he's a selfish brat. He's someone who's always been compared to his brother and feels insecure for it. I wouldn't even say the MC thinks his brother is ruining his life, he's just self conscious and afraid of being compared to his brother. For his part, his brother doesn't hold an malice towards him, and even the MC seems to care for his brother in return. He seems the kind of kid that coasts along on talent and probably doesn't really understand what it's like to struggle so he genuinely doesn't understand. They're both just teenagers still figuring shit out.

Hasegawa on the middle of 6 might be the best frame in this manga so far... and that's including page 28.
