That may be part of it, but something has gotta be up with that informant. We haven't caught any word about that from Reda at the beginning of the series. He must have made shit up for some reason.

Tbh, the whole situation feels way too forced. I usually like op mc's, but this one feels so mediocre. Hopefully they manage to write something soonish that isnt the mc talking about how useless he is, before doing something that everyone else cant...

He is likely to stay alive, but I would imagine torture + slave is in his future. The reason being is he said a very important name in that fight.

I'm hoping the image of the informant talking on either side of his ears is meant to suggest that it wasn't just, like, one sentence in a backally that changed him, that it was something that was continuously whispered into his ears over a period of time. If it was like that, and if he shown something, it would be more believable.
