Agreed. While not being anywhere near informed on the subject the metallurgy feels a little suspect.

Different series. I like this one's art style better, also in that series MC just lives in the woods, and was not exiled.

They both are good, it's like two different brands of strawberry ice cream.

Thats basicly a difrent manga but with a bit of changes dont know who copied who

What happened to step 3?

Thats what i would like to know too in the original japanese its also 1,2,4,5 but the page counter is 17,18,19 so i dont know if they had the idea of making step 3 as the melting step wich would clear the whole : at the beginning its silverish metal , in the middel he says its an alloy , and at the end he says its aluminium. So i think the original idea of the autor was to make the bow out of some magical silver alloy, wich would make more sense to me. But i cant just change the script becouse i didnt like it .
