Tbvh, I can't tell what on earth you're talking about, but we have clearly explained on our stance as to why we decided to use gender-neutral pronouns, instead of "she". I don't see how it "looked like some hardcore bullying of a shy character" just because we didn't want to use "she". We didn't realise that some of you guys will be triggered over a pronoun, that's why we added our explanation at the end.

Despite us explaining a few times, some people just don't read and understand why. I don't think we're making this complicated. She's a girl, we know. Her gender was already revealed in Chapter 30, and there were continuation on Chapter 36 and 37. However, because of her speech and the "-kun", we decided to make it gender-neutral.

Like we have stated, if you're unsatisfied with our decision and quality, please purchase the official releases. Not only will you get the pronouns that you want, you will also support the mangaka. If for whatever reason you can't afford the manga volumes, I'm sure there are official releases on aggregate websites.

Appreciate the clarifications RE: your choices with Kou! Your decision to go with "they" (when Kou self-refers in formal speak), "she" (when talking in the notes about Kou directly), or either may be unusual to English speakers, but you're just focusing less on localization and on something that aligns more with Japanese pronouns, formal language, etc. So many readers use "dude" as a gender neutral term (which, to be fair, I do myself) and don't mind that the mangaka still writes Kou with the "kun" honorific ("but if you were REALLY accurate, you'd retranslate to 'chan' or 'san!'"), but cannot abide by "they" as a pronoun. But hopefully people respect your decision on this or they can read the official translations instead.

@InFinaLynx I have no problem with using a pronoun when it's actually being used. However as you yourself state it isn't being used. She uses a formal manner of speaking a neutral pronoun commonly used by girls. As far the Kou-kun excuse it's a nickname and it's pretty clear that's why they choose to use it. It's being used as a manner of endearment. And I do in fact plan on importing the JP version since I do believe you made a jab of an insinuation of my financial situation for daring to call out your leap of logic for being a leap of logic.

@Lioslin I'm sorry if my statement sounds like "a jab of insinuation of your financial situation", but that's not my intention. I used to read on aggregate websites just because I don't have the luxury to pay for what I want to read. That's one of the reason why I joined the scanlation world. It's because I want other people to read and hopefully, support the mangaka in the future.

At this point, I don't even know what I'm typing. I just want people to respect our decision on the pronouns. We're tired of having to explain everything every time we release a chapter. If we're gonna get whines from the reader, might as well we don't release anything and force the readers to read the official releases.

Thanks for the TL. I tried to read all of the credits but my tired eyes kept skimming. Anw, as for Kou, just don't overthink it and use "She." Or whatever makes the conversation flow naturally. Thank you for the translation. Idk why people keep calling out scanslation and begging them back when they dropped this. Just be grateful you can read this for free. Hopefully people respect scanslation's hard work on this or they can read the official translations instead.
