There are 2 other girls in their friendgroups, isn't that already max?Why didn't Seo and the girls just form a group?
Also, maybe its a guy / girl group separation thing.

Agree with this. The adaptation is pretty good (and maybe even better than I was expecting... it wasn't so long ago this series felt like a completely hidden gem) but I definitely think just enough dialogue has been cut here and there to give the beginning a bit of a different vibe. The date in episode 3 is a good example, they skipped over Amane's internal monologue being surprised Ijichi wanted one on one time with Seo and that leading to them talking about how "serious" they were later on. It's not the end of the world, but I do think people that end up picking up the manga are going to be pleasantly surprised by the additional characterization.Been enjoying the anime! It's not the best possible adaptation, but it's good and I love the series so I'm invested. The OP is my favorite of the season. 7/10 so far.
Seen a few people say that it feels like a generic GalXOtaku show to them, and I can see how the anime gives that impression where the manga doesn't. I feel the anime has rushed past the budding friendship phase into the "we have crushes on this guy" phase, and that makes it feel unbelievable. I worry people won't stick with the show long enough to get depth out of the characters.
Hopefully, the more events we get, the more those issues get fleshed out. The reward for sticking it out is realizing there's a tie for best girl, and that Seo's rizz is being really genuine and kind.
Well this is a sort of progress in the next few raw chaptersIt has been 90 chs or 12 volumes.
It is about time something happens.
Shit is getting really repetitive for last 10 chs.
Other than that everything is cool
