This is probably the only manga with a harem type of plot that is both girls are best girl! Normally they focus way too much on first girl but here it feels both girls share equal spotlight and develop like real people

I haven't read 3 or 5, but the others are high on my favorite series list. Maybe Soushi Souhi is in the running, but its writing is much better than its art.

It's funny that everyone's so resoundingly on board with the harem/3p ending, myself included.

Normally I hate harem endings because they feel like a cop-out designed to avoid alienating any segment of the fanbase who has their particular waifu and wouldn't stand for them "losing". Or that they're just for the horny wish-fulfillment crowd who wants the fantasy outcome of the MC getting to bang all the hot chicks without reservation.

But this is one of the only times I can remember where people want the 3P ending not for horny reasons or because warring factions can't stomach the idea of losing, but actually because everybody just likes both girls and doesn't want the story to end with one of them getting hurt. For myself, this is one of the rare occasions where I legitimately can't pick a favorite. Amane's gap of being the cool beauty but also an anime nerd and rather dorky/awkward personally is cute. Ijichi's gap of being looking like the stereotypical flashy gal but she's also the smart and responsible one who takes care of her siblings and is the sort of homebody you usually only see in "plain" characters is cute (bonus points that her "home mode" look with the sweatpants, tied up hair, and glasses is almost weirdly more attractive than her glammed up school appearance). And best of all, this is all happening without it actually being a contest. They aren't fighting over him, they literally all just want to get along as a trio.
