The most annoying part of this is that Katarina is never going to actually be allowed to reap the fruit of all that effort (i.e. actually git gud at swording) because the premise of the story demands she's a completely incompetent klutz who only gets ahead by virtue of her airheaded charm. The exact type of otome heroine the story is supposed to be parodying, in other words.
