I don’t think you understand how the poison works. It’s a slow acting poison (it had to be because poison resistance would’ve reacted to a stronger poison and alerted them) that’s been building up in their system for several days, whereas she’s been coming and going so she’s not as exposed. Also, and probably more importantly, she has light magic which lets her nullify any poison that she knows the structure of.

heck, she literally killed that First party of adventurers a dozen chapters ago by poisoning herself and them at the same time. But she was fine because she used light magic to negate it.

this was also spelled out when the princess treated her injury after the assassin cut her. She had to explain the poison and its ingredients to the princess for her to negate the poison.

Is that very explicitly that those who study magic at a young age mature more quickly, so basically every Noble, who is her age also looks to be as old as she is, while the commoners that age look much younger. Scanlation groups sometimes takes away from the work due to their own quirks. Obnoxious credit pages, bad jokes in the margins, etc. Although the reason is sound even if other groups don't feel the compulsion to be as off-kilter and in-your-face. Scanlation groups work by passion, are often fueled by their communities. So, that comes back into the work, the overly sexualized horny comments are reflections of what they get from the community.

And, yeah, I don't like it but I consider it the fee - price of admission. I often prefer the translations of enthusiasts over the official releases, the official releases in print are often rushed and underfunded and you can see where they may need to cut corners to fit requirements on deadlines. But that also means I gotta deal with bits like this.

I do respectfully hope more groups keep their discord memes and conversations off the final post but if that also takes away the fun of doing them then I can only nod and rapidly click past the credit pages and ignore TL/Ns.

Neither now nor in the past were assassins unfit for fights. They always have been fighters. The stealth only stereotype of members in "assassins guilds" was made popular with media. The most historically accurate thing that can be compared to an assassin guild are the ninjas.
And while they were well trained, they were absolutely not made to go 1vs1 against a samurai. They were supposed to be unnoticed, their victims were supposed to notice them only after being stabbed or poisoned. And after doing what they did, they were supposed to run away unnoticed as they came.
But is the surprise factor that made Aria able to pull off this plan. And is a very powerfull factor.
Ok maybe is not completely realistic, but come on... what is realistic about this manga? Is about a loli with magic powers that is the protagonist of an hentai visual novel for fujoshi, but decided to become an assassin. Some exageration here and there is expected.
And considering that 99% of the other manga would have their protagonist smashing through the door, spout some nonsense about friendship, and just punch in the face everyone, i really have no major complaint about this outcome.

She is 8. Though she has the memories and the knowledge of a middle aged Japanese woman that just so happened to be a complete psychopath. Which makes her a very dangerous (and messed up) 8 year old.
