Thanks for picking this up, time for a reread. Also I see our girl invented the skill gotta go fast over here
1000 is around rank 4, and at this point she hasn't reached that yetNgl at this point she should have been at 1k+ combat power already
600 feels too low considering all the hell she's been through
Would it be fair to say that Aria's punching above her weight class by running a glass cannon build?1000 is around rank 4, and at this point she hasn't reached that yet
Yes Aria is a pure glass cannon assassin.Would it be fair to say that Arias's punching above her weight class by running a glass cannon build?
Granted, as a literal child, glass cannon is pretty much the best she can do.
There’s an after story? Sweet! I’m still only on v6 of the ln. How many are there in total? In the time between the last chapter and this one, I have finished all of the LN and the first arc of the after story. Great series!
She did just reach level 4 martial arts and non-elemental magic. Feel like that probably should’ve given her a bigger boost in combat power. Or does she need to unlock the level 4 skill before that boost appears1000 is around rank 4, and at this point she hasn't reached that yet
For sure. Don’t forget chapter 1 had her murder 2 full grown adults as a 7 year old half-starved orphan. And she accomplished that through surprise. Every victor since then has pretty much been the same. Some trickery to catch the enemy off guard and delivery a critical blow. Though glass cannon may be a bit too reductive since she can last a long time in battle through sheer instincts and perseverance, continuining to fight even when her body is already brokenWould it be fair to say that Aria's punching above her weight class by running a glass cannon build?

It feels like bare minimum because all Aria subjected them bosses to, are conditions where she have at least some chances to win, if she had more time she would do more, do safer, prepare even deadlier traps, but unlike assassins guild that was complacently waiting in their super safe lair as long as she needed, the Orc Raid was constantly looming deadline that can even shift earlierPretty cool fight, though i think it doesn't fit her character as well as it should. She kind of just lost the preparation part of her fighting style. though she did poison them, but that kind of felt like the bare minimum. She usually had layers of prep, if i recall correctly. Or she performed a well timed assassination.
She also now is willing to fight to death for any random person she meets? Would need to re-read to really pinpoint her motivational aspects. From what i remember she was mainly motivated by self preservation. Then she met her master and came to care for her and thus fought for her.
At least this mini arc is done now so we can progress again.
Excuse me but... How is that Mary Sue again? I feel like nowadays people keep calling anything Mary Sue for no reason. My brother in reading, Mary Sue would be her one-shotting everything and everyone no matter how strong they are without taking a single hp drop nor being tired in the slightest. If clutching in the end pitting your all into strongest attack you can master, while you are 1 hit away from death is Mary Sue, then there is almost no hero who is not Mary SueThanks for picking this up. I don't mean to be negative, it just so happens that this is the chapter I finally start to see this story too is going into mary sue territory. She basically awakened a new ability to solve the problem the writer put her in.
I think she realized that surprise and deception can only carry her up to a certain point.Victory will always be her #1 motivation. She’ll never risk her life (or especially the lives of those she cares about) over something like the warrior code, but you can to a certain extent respect it, and those who follow it
