And this is why I dropped the manga more than a year ago, Leon acting with the devil may care atittude and playing dirty against his opponents got me hooked in the manga at first (on top of the harem tag, obviously), but him insisting in acting as mob character despite being neck deep into the plot and finding a hundred excuses to cockblock himself for so long while the girls pratically begged for him to bang them made me wish that both Angie and Livia dumped him and went full Yuri route.

And I only enjoy Yuri in a threesome / foursome / harem / polyamory context when there's a male character involved.

I dropped around chapter 36 when he refused to sleep with both Angie and Livia because I sensed this red flag from miles away (and got some LN spoilers too) thus decided to save myself from frustration and now more than a year and 18 chapters later I return to give it one last chance, but seems like dropping the manga was the right decision, because this chapter was make or break for me and now I leave without regrets.

Dude I had the same reaction, but I dropped later around chapter 41 or 42. At first I understood Leon not wanting to engage in romantic relationship with the girls to not mess up the plot and royalty and all that stuff, but when Marie screwed everything and Leon became an active player and got some promotions himself there was no more excuses and at this point I was very frustrated with him that I decided to spoil myself on the LN and then I finally dropped the manga.

I only came today to see if the manga author was making any changes like giving Leon some balls to finally get laid with the girls, but seems like there'll be no change from the LN, in this case I'm also leaving this manga without looking back.

I have to imagine this yuri development is a swerve. Like, even as recent as chap 52 we had Olivia freaking out about "Angie is the only one for Leon... I should just give up...", so she obviously has feelings for him. All that remains to be seen is if Olivia + Angie actually have some kind of strong feelings for each other, or whether they just got blindsided by the tech that somehow both sensed they had the same love (but for Leon, not eachother).

The love detector doesn't detect "what" kind of love someone has, just that they love each other, the yuri thing is a running gag, basically if leon and his dad got up there it would likely give a high rating too.
In olivia and angie's case, it's more like they see each other as heterosexual life partners, aka they both love leon but want to spend their lives together, all 3 of them.

If this goes the yuri route it was added to the light novel as it wasn't in the web novel, might drop it if it was added as i despise both yuri and yaoi.

From what i read on the wiki that kiss scene posted earlier is out of context but annoyed novel readers too both western and japanese, so it was never brought up again, thus it might be cut from the manga.

Provided this doesn't change from the WN (which it likely will as the light novel is longer than the web novel) he's engaged to angie and olivia at the end of this volume, another girl (noelle, heroine of the empire arc) after this volume, and mylene, though this is the only thing he amicably hands leon as the king and leon hate each other like sitcom arch nemesis.
