The romance between angelica and the price was honestly quite tragic, more tragic than most of the intended so called love tragedies.
worked within framework of royal rules, yet her love only served to oppress him more leaving his repressed feelings to fester into a ticking time bomb.
Others might blame the prince for this but from another perspective, angelica might've been so diligent herself that she never gave the prince the room, chance or opportunity to confide with and truly relate to her on a more personal level, and that disconnect eventually turned her into, in his eyes, the personification of all the implied responsibilities that came with him being born into royalty. Even if leon was totally right about him, all this still seems plausible and it doesn't really imply anything about his innate chracter when you consider that he was just a kid.
In spite of this, angelica still worked her entire life to become someone worthy of him, but in the end lost to actual, honest to god fate, to a god-like rival with perfect information. And she still would've been fine with him ending up with someone else, probably, anyone who's not a cunning, reverse harem scheming literal player who doesn't even believe in the same "true love" that the other two do. Then of course there's the standard "she still liked her anyway, and he sort of liked her still does but is too committed to another now to even pull off the mistress route" devdlopment to seal the deal.
If the mob hadn't intervened the events would've taken an even more tragic turn. And this all happened because someone was toying with their relationship in the palm of her hands, like it was just a game.

As an aside, this line "decided to ... while overlooking a very important fact" kind of applies to the armchair writers and part time manga "critics" you find anywhere, who are just eternally perplexed as to why authors keep using or avoiding a certain trope or writing decision over and over again, or that they don't do it enough. Who knows, but it's good to keep in mind that authors who write their specific story the exact way you want them to would probably end up making something that's disliked by most (and maybe even you), and you wouldn't even know because they'd be axed or left untranslated.

I basically read the part of the novel where
The mc romances his Sister/Marie. YEAH THATS RIGHT AND I SHIP THEM!!! Marie's life is basically a tragedy on Earth, Having been a mother but the father is... Yeah she is a bitch, but she's like the metamorphosis girl without the drugs after the mc died. The misunderstandings between the Mc and Marie on Earh is very easy to explain, It's just a misunderstanding. She often relies on her brother because he is too dependable.
this is kind of too long.

Everyone mad at him for winning, despite the fact their gamble was bad to begin with. 99% of them bet on him losing, so they only stood to gain a fraction of any winnings.

Heck, even betting a small amount on him winning would result in more profit.

i think people are confusing something, initially only a few number of people bet on the princes because there would be no profit as no one bet on leon. So I think leon pour all his life saving, which made the bets more even and even more people bet because of that.

man, this prince is truly hopelesly stupid beyond redemption, the country is truly beyond fucked with someone like that as its crownprince, and the entire country it self is well and truly fucked as well, it was a official duel both parties agreed upon, and MC beat them all with hillarious ease, and he could have killed them all if he wanted to as the rules of the duels allow it regardless of the title of the participants, its a risk everyone is aware of when they take on the duel from the very begining, the MC showed great mercy by not killing them, not even giving them one single scar, and yet there is talk about punishing him? its because of nonsense like this those 5 is so damn weak and useless to begin with, not one person they have sparred with dared to win out of fear to be punished so they all faked losing, leading to these morons think they are far better then they are, if a war breaks out and they go to the front lines they are fucked, shen they die their sides morale will hit rock bottom and the enemy morale will sky rocket, after that i give the country no more then 1 single week before the capital is in flames and the entire royal familys heads is on pikes outside the castle walls, instead of punishing him they should be greatfull and reward him for giving those 5 morons a reality check.
