You serious? The main characters of that manga were so dull that I dropped it. Maybe it's different in the WN or the story might of picked up after I stopped reading it.

The protagonist indeed has nothing going for her besides her self defense debate in ch1&2. Rest of her fluff with prince seahorse is indeed so generic that i forgot what her name was. I'm hardly the only to point that out, a few people have too in the latest chapters comments.

she's basically become a 2nd main character in the LN and is

beyond vol 3 of the LN she's one of my favourite characters. it's weird the more i see of her the more i actually like her.

While the quality of the story goes a bit downhill, I'm wondering where people are getting the abandon ship mentality from. Sure it may not be your cup of tea, but. . .

The whole arc with the war ends in ways I wasn't expecting for some characters. And while the second game arc is definitely worse and sidelines certain characters, Leon screwing over people is fantastic as always. And Marie becomes a favorite with her money troubles.

And about his whole Olivia thing, the novel expands it out a bit more than just being a mob. He is nobility of a rank high enough marrying a commoner isn't something he can do. And even if she became the Saint(ess) or whatever you want to call her, she then becomes so high in social standing that he can't marry her. Same with Angie, his rank is so low that marrying a Duke's daughter (and possibly the highest ranked Duke) seems out of his reach. Beyond pure willful blindness, he both can't believe they can really like him and he also is in the mindset that they shouldn't like him so the game can progress.

this belief kinda bites him repeatedly. The female protagonist of the second game falls in love with Leon. Leon doesn't register she loves him and it isn't helped by the fact that they are trying to ship her off to one of her game-route partners. The epilogue of volume 5 is basically about the robots forcing Leon to realize his situation because he keeps playing the coward about the whole thing.

@zerio I know that bit, but the fact stands that this wouldn't affect his progression with her as far as flags and "routes" go. The two of them are building a lot of affection, and their position right now makes it wholly a case of Leon ignoring her interest in him instead of knowing his place.

Not to mention, she definitely won't care even after she becomes the Saint and the only thing holding her back would be the (totally false) impression that he's not interested in her in that way.

@deltarayedge Yeah...I don't mind that story, but the characters are so wishfulfilment-packed sweetness that's actually kinda annoying. The fact that their names are so awkward and weird makes it worse.
