I don't hate the manga or anything, it's quite good. Just bothers me that the MC's personality doesn't appear to be logically consistent with his actions.
Maybe I'm thinking too far ahead and the manga explains his choices later on, might check out the LN in the meantime.

I've read the ln and his compulsion to do thIngs opposite to what he says continues. But him acting like a shounen mc on a shounen manga is kinda expected tho? And i think that contrast between his action and what he says is just a plot device to make him seem like the unwilling hero who doesn't want to be in the situation he is in but is compelled to do so for some self-justifying belief. And his behavior has some root from his former life which is kinda explained? I dont rly remember but yeah this is a fun read nonetheless! You're gonna enjoy how stupiD the prince and his gang is

I think this is one if the mangas that made me start looking into LNs more seriously. The LN is great, but towards the end some ESL takes over and I'm pretty sure their 'proofreader' makes his already bad english worse.

Still worth looking into if you're impatient with the manga and want to read what happens. Just be warned that once you get to the part that dude translates you're gonna be in for a real rough time.

I feel like everyone's problem with it really comes down to the translation. Bakapervert shouldn't be translating at all tbh. I found myself skipping over a lot of text because it was so hard to read. Eventually I went back and actually started editing the TL and physically correcting things myself and it got a lot more enjoyable.

Baka Pervert do not have a editor for Otomege LN, and he's translated all chapters very fast (without an editor) so we must support him for that (we don't know how long until this LN can get licensed in english)

I'm pretty sure he said in one of the earlier chapters when he picked it up that he got an editor. Either way, his posted TL is garbage and we should really stop acting like it's not. I appreciate that he did something, but it's REALLY bad. At some point I'm probably just going to email him my edits so other people don't drop the series due to horrible reading quality.

I'm agree with you about BP's translation look like a raw version . But with his updated speed, it will be hard for any editor can be follow up. And BP have a strong support from many fans who have tired for waiting many months to get a chapter from the former translator. I think many readers will be thank for an edited version from you anyway
