It’s not like they didn’t imply he bought at least one of the extra things she got here, but still.

I think the anime made it seem like he bought more of the stuff she packs into her bag here himself, but it’s been a bit since I saw the series/season.

Yeah, I get around. I've been reading a bunch of stuff of late, from various years. I'm reading this, BokuYaba, ToniKawa (have to read it elsewhere past Ch255, nobody's scanlating it anymore after Bathhouse Scans/Sho Habby lost their typesetter (like actually died- kind of a weird feeling, as I've read stuff on here that he worked on besides ToniKawa) and it's gotten riskier to keep going with Viz doing simulpub for the official translation)...

I'm also waiting on the last of March Comes in Like a Lion and Sono Bisque (I know the last chapter's out, but I'm hoping for a final volume and extras).

I also worked my way through some completed manga, like everything SukiMega/The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses (including the pixiv/twitter extras), Komi-san, HoriMiya, B Gata H Kei, and Nisekoi (I know some people didn't like it because of the ending, but I went at it in such a way I figured out who the real female lead was pretty early on, especially since the anime was pretty leading on that point, particularly with the second season, and I ultimately wasn't disappointed, so I enjoyed it, but it was a very heavy ending (heavy but good, in my eyes)- I actually read SukiMega immediately after, because I knew it was going to be light and fluffy and act as a nice palate cleanser, even though it was my first time reading it)...

Read through The Duke of Death and His Maid, Cheeky Brat, and Suzuka in previous years, as well.

So yeah, you'll see me in comments for pretty much all of those. Worth noting I've seen and enjoyed the anime for most of the stuff that has had one before reading the manga, as well, with the exception of Komi-san and Suzuka... Though I need to catch up on Sono Bisque's and I think Duke of Death had another season or two since I originally watched and was left wanting to see how it ended which is why I read the manga, same as for the rest of them.

Oh yeah, because I enjoyed SukiMega, I also went looking for what else Fujichika Koume has done, and figured out she also wrote something called Tonari no Onee-san ga Suki (I'm in Love With the Older Girl Next Door), and enjoyed that a good deal, too.

Lol you're just like me, reading a bunch of shit and also seen commenting everywhere 💀

I actually stopped reading this a while back and decided to continue, Apparently the last time I commented on this manga was 12/30/23, wild

Yeah, this one's going to take awhile, from what I can tell. By the time this manga reaches the point that the first season of the anime ends at (albeit by skipping past chunks of the latter two of the four LN volumes it was meant to adapt, from what I understand), we'll most likely already have the second season of the anime, at the very least, if they don't plan to move to a third or beyond (who knows).

I paused at the end of Volume 5, and kinda feel like waiting until all of Volume 6 is ready before I read it (based on the pace and what I've gathered from those who have read the LN, this should reach the end of LN volume 4 by end of Volume 10, maybe?). Sort of approaching the other ongoing manga I'm monitoring the same way, now. Paused with BokuYaba while extras up through Volume 12 are filled out, for instance, then I'll read all of that Volume, finally. Not that the extras are really important, but still. Just focusing my free time on other stuff while I wait, like reading finished manga or such I was planning to read anyway...

Made my way through most of another manga by the creator of Suzuka, and having the realization that sometimes he (Kouji Seo) is a sadistic bastard making characters suffer about halfway through the narrative by keeping the intended main couple apart while the male lead dates someone else for a bit, before bringing the actual love interest back after a bit and making things complicated before things stabilize into a new normal, more or less having things how they would be, apart from relationship growth and reconnections, until the end of the story's run.

Seo-sensei's shorter works have much less of this sort of thing, I think. At best, there's a hiccup where the two main characters 'hate' each other, before they realize they can't stay apart for whatever reason. To be fair, this is based on my reading of a few of his one-shots and the dozen-ish chapter long story that got me into his works, Half & Half. By far his best-rated manga, I think? Certainly one of his best-rated on MangaDex, only beaten by the Goddess Café Terrace (his currently-running series). I mean, if it wasn't for that story, I wouldn't have read Suzuka, or W's - Doubles (I was hoping it had more of a love angle than it actually did, but it wasn't a bad sports manga, I suppose?)

The one I'm reading is technically a bit of a parallel, side-sequel to Suzuka, where you'll get cameos from Suzuka cast every so often, but it focuses on completely unrelated (at the time of each story) characters. It's called A Town Where You Live (Kimi no Iru Machi). From what I understand, the two main characters are the parents of a male character that shows up in the manga named after the daughter of the main characters from Suzuka, Fuuka, which focuses on her as a main character, but I believe someone else is the point of view character. I also read somewhere that she dies part-way through her own story, which pissed me off and makes me not want to read it, reinforcing my perception that Seo-sensei is a sadistic bastard. So, yeah... I'll potentially read everything else he has done except Fuuka (if I get around to them), unless he ends up pissing me off too much in other manga I just stop reading his works entirely.

Why did he immediately say he wasn't stalking her? They're in a super market and they live in the same building. Of course they'd go to the same super market.
