Decent enough if you enjoy power progression. Very much a “this happened, then this happened” story though. You ain’t reading this for how well written the characters are, especially in the first few chapters.

Very meh, but MCs playing evil overlord is a fun concept. And at the very least, the characterization being so bare bones means the characters aren’t actually “bad.”

Not really, as most of those are "insert all the insecurities of the writer in to the MC and give him the harem the writer wishes they had".

This is more make the MC the actual end boss, which isnt usually normal, or if they are, they make them a snivelling coward or a total douche who spends more time effing his followers than fighting the "normies".

The MMO is completely free form without a traditional leveling system (or party or guild systems either), instead they gain XP which they spend on skills the more XP spent the less enemies give. Leah (her official name) found an exploit using "Retainer". By sending out the ants who have had little to no XP spent on them, they get more XP which is funneled to the ant queen and then to Leah that she spends how she sees fit on herself and her retainers. The Admins are simply hands-off and very secretive, letting the players learn as they go, revealing very little on their own (every few chapters in the book starts with a QA from the devs in the book). Even healing magic was hidden behind other skills that needed to be unlocked in order to acquire.

It's really enjoyable to read and the art is good, the power system is a bit unbalanced and because of it the pacing is a bit fast

Don't be fooled by the high rating, this is just like any other I build an army from scratch and become extremely powerful along the way kind of manga except that the art is good. I found myself skipping the mountains of pointless text to explain why she is accidentally the greatest player in the game and how she's gonna crush the players next. Fun parts are still fun tho, even if you know what's gonna happen.
