It is kind of a happy ending, if it wasn't because it implies that the vengeful spirit of the witch is still out there roaming the earth.
On the other hand it only targets abusive partners so it not that bad, on the other other hand it also kills murderers and the foundation does a lot murder...

Isnt this the perfect example of a "safe" SCP, so why is it marked as euclid at the end ?
i mean you literally just put it in a box and you are done with it?
Its even classed as safe on the website by the creator.
Yes there is a possibility that the witch is still alive and is murdering people but it was never confirmed.
Not to mention that they might even be separate SCP´s in the first place just like all the Wondertainment toys.
If they do count as the same then sure.
Euclid might be needed if both counts as one, but as it stands this should be safe as SCP-3998 is only the burning corpse and not the witch itself or both.

But really it depends on what the SCP/witch/succubus/ the thing that gives it power feels about it.

@Goldenzeal Because SCP-3998 should be the witch and the wicker man should be a sub-type of SCP-3998 because based on what we know the witch can probably create more of these things. I'm sure it's explained in the actual SCP document but ya gotta remember that these comics omit a lot of information for the sake of the format.

The witch if she exists created the wicker man, not the other way around.
( Again it was never confirmed to be true as she have never been seen, just very plausible from the records and addendums.)
if she is confirmed to exist she could take over the role of SCP-3998, but she is never going to be a sub class of the wickerman, it has to it te the other way around.
She created it after all, the wickerman did not make her....
But there is a catch to all of this, that means she is most likely never going to be the "real" SCP-3998.

Meaning that the witch who was created by the succubus is then going to be a subclass of the succubus.

Most of what was excluded is some " court records" and some diary pages + a letter from the witch trials that expands on the relationships and personality of both the witch and the succubus.
But as it stands the wicker man is the SCP, and the neither witch nor the succubus is ever going to be a sub-type of the wicker man.
