Sometimes I forget that there's SCPs that are virtually harmless lost or mixed in the sea of eldritch monsters and cross-dimensional non-entities or metaphysical ideas. Half a cat means no need for a litter box, right?

Well, there’s the Invisible Baby from Part 4 that Joseph adopts. I guess it’s safe to assume that something like that could also happen.

However, my guess is that the cat has a Stand similar to Vanilla Ice’s, where he could be swallowed by it and not get lost in the alternate dimension. My hypothesis is that the cat has hidden its back half either accidentally or on purpose. If the SCP staff aren’t also Stand users, they wouldn’t be able to see the stand and it would appear as if the back half is invisible.

In SCP 1730 there is a MTF guy that got his foot into black liquid in site 13 and his foot disappear but he can still stand and walk like his foot still there.
Exactly like this cat. But he only lost his foot instead of half of the body like this cat
