For those who want to read, you can but stop at the end of the 1st season. The 1st season wasn't the best but was still quite good. But now, the only reason I continue to read is because I dislike dropping a series and that I have not much else to do.

WTF? The 'first season' was quite an end, everything has been resolved, they married, the big villain is defeated, highest power-level reached. Why did a second season come? It doesn't make any sense. Except if there was some gigantic time-skip... still typical of trashy chinese novels to manage to destroy nice things and squash out the positive aspects through worse ones.

Personally i would greatly recommend to read the Novel, best from the start cause there are some major differences between the novel and the manhua.
Edit: Anyone still planning to read this, i recommend you to not do, they SERIOUSLY butchered the manhua adaption so hard.
I agree i remember reading the novel years ago and decided to pick it up again nd start over. Took me a minute to find since i learned its no longer on wuxia world and is now a novel series on amazon. But this manhua just cannot compare to the novel as it just seems to change not only important characters but also events and timelines drastically.

I can't understand for the life of me as to why this is given a score of 7.84. Without spoiling the comic: The protagonist is a blatant mary sue, none of the supporting characters are developed or given any real 'CHARACTERISATION' other than "oh, she's cute." or "oh, he's determined." What makes this story even more painful to read is the fact that even the premise is boring and cheesy. What the author set out to make probably looked cooler in his head, which is immensely disappointing once you read further in, as you can see in tiny flickers throughout this 'story' that the author did try to make something compelling.

TL;DR: It's a marathon of crap that you can't even enjoy ironically with all the coincidences, logically dissonant premises, and paper thin characters. It's a shame, because i can see the effort that Wo Chi Xihong Shi and Tong Yi Ming put into this.
This manhua version of the story feels like a bastardization of the original story. If you go read the original novel the pacing and characters are far better and more fleshed out, with actual consequences for Linley at times.
