He's Russian. Probably wanted to express what he said in his native tongue too (although I'm not sure what the point is in that either since he also does Russian scanlations). I can have sympathy for the guy, but I'm not going to stroke his ego. It's crazy how if someone else uploads a chapter before him, that person will be called a "sniper" when ironically enough, one of the reasons this guy has been the one consistently uploading is 'cause he was sniping. Combine that with the person being annoyed with where the manga was going and the quality of it and they stopped. There was a brief moment they came back for a few chapters (the difference was night and day given their translations were way better) but they stopped again.

Ayy, I remember that post 'cause I'm the one who corrected that guy, lol and yeah, waiting for official translations is and always will be ass. A rare exception are pubs like Square Enix. Kekkon Yubiwa had offical translations the same day as raws if I recall correctly.

Edit: I might be thinking of a different manga in regards to that last bit. I can't remember 'cause it's been a while.

Most of you saying the story of Parallel Paradise is trash will be back reading the next chapter anyway. The story isn’t even that bad in comparison to the other garbage stories like NTRevenge or Daredemo Dakeru Kimi ga Suki. Now those are the stories that are complete trash and have no direction at all.

Okamoto has always done that. Sometimes it’s hard to believe this is the same author who wrote Eflen Lied.

No it really isn't. There was some crazy shit in Elfen Lied simply for shock factor, case in point: Black Coat Man he [Elfen Lied Spoilers] rapes a diclonius that can track other diclonius before having her cut in half to use as a tracking device and then tries to rape the young girl who was raped by her foster father iirc all while never being named. Then there was the fact that he didn't want Lucy/Nyuu/Kaede to take the majority of the blame so he had to invent a 4th personality that was actually the evil one much like how he's been going with Nishina trying to make her sympathetic when she was originally going to be the main villain granted I still think Nishina is going to make a heel turn eventually, but it'll be in a different manner to what I and others originally thought .

Honestly one thing I'm glad about is he hasn't done multiple personalities this time like he did in Brynhildr or Elfen Lied

Everyone's view of Elfen Lied was framed by the direction of the anime. They downplayed Lynn's stupidity and fetish fuel with melodramatic music, biblical imagery, and focused on the blood and gore. Remember the guy who got his balls cut off and turned into a terminator? Remember the mute girl who was incontinent? Remember when Nana used a rocket punch? Elfen Lied was perfectly in line with other goofy Okamoto Lynn works, and the best way to enjoy them is to never take anything seriously.

Don't worry translator, I agree 100%. This is a really terrible manga. Even the occasional sex scenes are terrible. There are way better fanservice harems out there, Mato Seihei is a personal favourite.
