I honestly think the comments are way to harsh on this series sometimes. Yeah, it dragged on but not right now. We finally moved to the end fight we waited years for so lets enjoy that. Yeah, I don't want the fight lasting for years but it literally just started. Ending it too fast would do it no justice either.
Also I feel like no matter what Youta does, he's been called useless when in reality he's not half bad. In fact, its Leemarys fault Kinjo is alive but I guess we don't talk about that.

Yeah, the comment might've come of as a bit fanboyish but I enjoy the the manga for what it is and I'm interested in how it wraps up.

I think its because, given how he tends to write, its pretty clear (hopefully i am wrong) this fight will end inconclusive after they get thrashed and Yota would need to go obtain something to power up and this will easily last another year or two.

no, i fully agree, leemary is an insufferable tyrant with the arrogance of the overly privileged.
her behavior during the story was just lashing out at everything and everyone, even allies and potential allies.
and the constant worship of her precious "allmother" still continues to this point, while she ragingly spouted death threats over simple criticism and warnings directed towards her monarch in the past.
seriously, the series might have been a much smoother experience if the author had chosen nakuta instead to be the warrior standing next to yota.

Since Youta can't go back and fix anything hopefully he at least gets his miserable existence in the final moments. Then at the end he wakes up back in normal time and basically breaks him completely early so he can't hurt anybody

Anyway, I hope we'll see Youta'srevemge next chapter, although I don't believe this is going to be the final battle.

Okay so when did this supposed defeat happen? like in the timeline we're told by Youta:

Kanejo captures the mother and Nishina -> Murders the mom -> goes to the event to mock Youta and wins Kendo -> The mother and Nishina are discovered -> Kanejo disappears.

There's no time for the event that Nishina claims to have happened to happen... unless Okamoto Lynn is gonna pull the ol' dissociative identity card like he did in Brynhildr and Elfen Lied and Youta actually did find Kanejo post murder of his mother and goes full blackout and doesn't remember. it'd be somewhat consistent with some of the lines Nishina has said about if Youta understood everything his heart would break, why Nishina distanced herself from Youta. it might actually fit and I hate it.
