The main difference is that Eminence is intentionally a comedy. This is not intentional, but is often hilarious none the lessSee, this is why I like Eminence of Shadow and Parallel Paradise.
They're both fun series if you 100% not take them seriously.
The difference between the two is Eminence has a super predictable story and the MC is both cringe and insane at the same time, but all the characters except the MC take everything seriously. Meanwhile, Parallel Paradise EVERYTHING and EVERYONE is cringe or stupid (except Leigh-Mary), but the characters takes it seriously (most of the time) but the addition of seggs and the ridonkulous situations that lead up to that just makes everything funny. Also, we can all shit and laugh at PP (heh) and it's fun to complain, while we laugh at Cid whenever he cooms from being an edgy chuunibyo.
Maybe you're thinking I'm crazy comparing these two series, but if somehow one of the girls manages to convince Cid that banging her (and maybe the other girls too) is very Eminence-worthy, Cid might actually go for it lol, so he's not that far from a PP (heh) situation.
He just likes girls meltingOkamoto had been on a slide into madness since as far as Elfen Lied. The latter half went completely bonkers. Gokukoku no Brynhildr was exactly the same. At least this one off loaded its madness upfront. No set dressing.
I think the difference is is that this is Okamoto Lynn's modus opperandi he just keeps upping the insanity like when he had a Goth loli in aviators with an MP5 in Brynhildr. Whereas, and i haven't read anything else by Eminence's writer so I can't be sure, but I think Eminence is a sort of Parody of the isekai genre but not in the same way that KonoSuba is a parody where every character doesn't take things seriously. However in eminence everything is played 100% straight and the only people that should realize they're watching/reading a parody is the reader.See, this is why I like Eminence of Shadow and Parallel Paradise.

Hey it's not just him it also has to go through Editors to approve itdude drew the manga, looked at his final product and was like "yep, thats good"... I respect that
If I knew your address I'd personally slap you for comparing this to Eminence.See, this is why I like Eminence of Shadow and Parallel Paradise.

Sigh... i guess a pig is fine too. unzips.I want to taste porkmary🤤
Wouldn't surprise me if there is a surprise extra arc about the moon--it gave Kanejo his powers. Is it also why the world got so screwed up? PART of it was Kanejo, but he spent most of his time setting up how women would be born & live.just need empress allmother-sama's head ASAP then we can get over this arc and move on to the final arc.
That’s the point he can’t be simping in this world! Leemary is just built so different even he can’t NOT simp herIt's almost as if he's a shit character and shouldn't be the protagonist.
Funnier than that Psycho Alien manga that has the comedy tag, for sure. It's chapters like these that make me think this should have a comedy tag.
And Leighmary is back in a terrible new form!
The author truly is fucking with us.
Sex no jutsu is better.

Eminence and KonoSuba are for sure both parodies of isekai. No one should take an edgy chunnibyou getting excited about school terrorist or saying "I am atomic" seriously except the characters around him.I think the difference is is that this is Okamoto Lynn's modus opperandi he just keeps upping the insanity like when he had a Goth loli in aviators with an MP5 in Brynhildr.
