Genuinely don't understand why many reviews are saying this is hentai with plot. There is no plot here, and it's not even sexually gratifying.

If you're in for a male sex fantasy with a thinly veiled premise, this is worth "skimming" over.

- The protag has 0 character development.
- Pretty much no reason why all the female characters are essentially all have nymphomania except for the lack of males (why? They only read about sex and males in stories. Why are they exploding in cum at every touch?)
- Leans heavily into romance despite the fact that there is no social or sexual chemistry between the characters. At least other shallow harem novels makes the effort to connect the characters. This one? Nope.
>>> To lean on this point a bit heavier, the protag is essentially a villain fucking all these girls into submission. Why doesn't he experiment with what this curse entails? Can they be artificially inseminated? Can they just drink his jizz? Why doesn't he make the slightest effort to figure out why some girls aren't cured of their curse? Writing this review is essentially making me more confused and upset?
- Protag makes 0 effort to improve himself to prepare himself to the task of killing some otherworldly god. Why is he even needed on this plot other than he's the only male? Clearly everyone else is resolving every adversity and if anything he's a hindrance causing everyone to lose focus and spasm.
- Extremely convoluted plot that is still essentially extremely narrow and straight that makes no sense.
- It's pretty much impossible to relate to the protag because all he shows is basic empathy and after the first few encounters, even he seems to be tired of having sex 24/7.

This "story" is essentially a hentai that isn't as erotic as porn while being too ridiculous to be read even light-heartedly. I read shallow ecchi novels at times, but this story honestly doesn't even give you the gratification of a power fantasy because there is no "power ramp" or innocent nerd meets hot clueless bumpkins from other-world. Nothing about this story makes sense even under the slightest of scrutiny, and the latest arc (after spending about 30 minutes skimming through everything to see if any of the plot points are progressed) is the most ridiculous. More questions raised with nothing answered, and not in a "this story is keeping me engaged" kind of way.

Also... some of the lines in this story... is just so ridiculously cringy. Like some girls scream that all girls were meant to be bred as they explode in jizz in some euphoric high. Who wrote this? Does this author need to be reported to some authority? Is it some mistranslation that's gone horribly wrong? Why does this story have 80+ chapters of them moving through like 3 cities and I know nothing about how this world functions? Apparently girls just "spawn" out of some tower? Why are all of these plot points just ignored only to have the SINGLE plot arc be more and more convoluted with each arc? It doesn't have to be completely revealed, but the protag should make ANY effort to investigate in order to solve this, right? How does he think he's going to kill a "god" when he's clearly completely weak compared to these feudal women that kick his ass every time?

To me, this is a 7/10 at best.

Even after all these chapters, there isn't as much explanation with the story as I'd hoped.

@0181sam The main monsters in this setting
will happily fuck people to death
iirc. Not the main focus of everything, but it can and does happen.

Lmao latest raws are hilarious, can't wait for translation. 🤣

This is so much better than Brynhildr. Okamoto's magnum opus will always be Elfen Lied imho, but Parallel Paradise gets a well deserved second place along with Nononono. Brynhildr's only redeeming feature was Kazumi.

@Siquall "I was offered an early retirement opportunity" instead of "I was fired".
Once again "technicalities" (in bold quotes) save the day. Gotta love lying by doublespeak. utterly despicable.

This is pretty much hentai with a unique premise until plot twist after plot twist occurs after around chapter 50 or so. It still has the sex but there’s a lot of twisting too lol

Lol the comment section is full of shitty comment of dumb bitches who feel offended without a real reason.
Look, there isn't an "all girls are whore" message in this manga, this is a fucking fantasy world and in this world
clearly not OUR future world
things goes in this way for an explained and rational reason.
On the Earth in this manga, our today Earth, girls are norlmal person, her childhood friend was never aroused or acting like the girls in the fantasy world.
Stop hate and enjoy the story.

After reading all to the point of the mystery God of jealously and the ruins of the old city, do you guys still think the curse is actually a curse?
Knowing the ruins is actually the ruins of old modern city, the ancient language is actually the old native language and that nuclear powered facility, I think the curse may actually be a disease created by his childhood friend somehow to kill all the guys in the world (just like the disease in World end's harem). Maybe the truth behind the babies born in the castle is actually the doing of the survived scientists, they make some kind of artificial fertilization/In vitro fertilization to maintain the humanity but somehow it is not perfect, resulting only last for 20 years of lifespan. Remember all of Okamoto Lynn's previous works always involve sci-fi (we have time travel here), facilities and some lab experiments

What you describe sounds almost exactly what occurs when someone is cloned. Maybe they have a group of women that are in cryostasis and are repeatedly cloning, and modifying their genome. If they were already old enough, the clones would only last for a limited time before the cells would start to break down. We know they have cryostasis too. This could also explain the two lilias as well. What if one of them is a time travel agent and one is just the city guardian because they are both clones of the same template? On a side note, maybe the monsters are failed attempts to modify a woman into a man. Its also possible that the time travel is just a simulation and they are inhabiting flesh bags with remote controlled brains. That could also explain the going back and forth and the moonbreaking.

Is this just like that hentai doujin? The maid on the cover looks like the story could be the same

To be real honest, it has good world-building and a good mystery set up. The MC has a brain and lots of generic plot devices are questioned early on/resolved. Every chapter there is progression in the whole "why does everyone die at 20", "who set up these rules" and "how do we stop the curse". The only reason why people dislike it is cause there is rampant sex literately everywhere. So much of it that you have to wonder how did it even get greenlight in a non-h publisher magazine. But I guess the fluids act as a censor so it gets hidden anyways. Either way, I'd advise those who can't handle them edgy tags to not read as you will most likely be triggered. But for those who don't really care, it's got a really good story and plenty of theories have been proposed and discussed in the thread.
