Holy shit this chapter was delicious. I don't know what you guys are talking about.
Firstly, Toramaru being completely receptive to criticism and willing to change what she could-while also acknowledging that there were some things she couldn't-was incredibly refreshing. With how cartoonish her personality is portrayed as sometimes, this particular reaction made her feel like not only a real person to me, but a mature person. Not to mention her delinquency is the perfect excuse for tsundereisms in a lesser story, but we got none of that.
Secondly, Unoki figured out the misunderstanding on his own and we got a genuine embarrassed reaction from him.
Third, even if there's still a disconnect preserving the biggest misunderstanding, their relationship is progressing pretty tangibly. She's falling harder and he's picking up more and more hints(actually, he usually doesn't miss the hints like the typical dense MC).
