A pretty good adaptation of a web novel. A little misandrist in places, and it doesn't seem to make up its mind as to what it actually wants to do with the premise by the time the manga reaches the end of the novel. If the novel ends in the same way, it seems like kind of a pointless story since it just...stops? There's not really a conclusion aside from a reiteration of the FL's thoughts in the first chapter. Aside from that, the biggest issue is that the author succeeds in redeeming and justifying the ML, but because the story cuts off so abruptly, the FL doesn't get any such treatment. Ultimately the story ends with a kind of lopsided stumble as the FL ends up feeling far more one-note and shallow than the ML was initially presented as. Quite odd!
A shame the original author never kept it up, I'd be pretty interested to see where it goes. On the other hand, it showed a couple red flags that it might turn into a boring "I used the rennaissance as a setting to remind people that women didn't have a vote before" kind of blathering, so perhaps ending where it did is for the best.
The story continues as a sort of manga-only extrapolation but so far it seems to just be treading water. I intend to keep an eye on it and see if it picks up.
