You have to understand what I mean. Hinting that you come from the future can either be a happy romantic story like the Time Travellers Wife orrrrrr Terminator’s crushing skulls on a Beach or the world getting Nuked or everyone fucking dying.

Just because she was obviously hinted from the future or reincarnated, it didn’t once make me think “oh she’s also coming from a world of immense suffering and death and sickness” as I enjoyed the fluffy romance.

I wasn't trying to suggest that it was just because of the reincarnation that it must be bad. The hints that I mention come from the fact there was moments in the series where something was off about the way she reacted sometimes or what she said in early chapters that couldn't be explained if the future she came from was purely warm and fluff. Ex if I remember correctly there was a part in early chapters that suggested she was crying in bed.

We got that scene of her incredibly depressed lying on the bed with obvious dark moody filters in like, what was it? Chapter 2? Or when she freaked out at the crosswalk for no good reason, indicating that there was something more to what was going on than just what was on the surface. Ignore it all you want, but it's always been there as part of the story.
