I like how the protag is starting to get more assertive and is really making clear how much he loves his girl (and she treats him well enough that she deserves this sort of devotion). The mother's certainly crotchety but she is giving the protag good advice, even when you really love someone (and even if in this case she's come from the future somehow) it's never a good idea to rush into marriage.

I decided that I wanted to marry my wife in less than a month. She also decided it pretty fast.
But we didn't bring it up that fast thought, but she was my fiancé less than a year later, and around more 6 or 7 months we married and started to live together, we didn't marry in fact earlier just because of financial preparation.
We are married for almost 15 years
