To be fair, her family likes the king and the royal family, and the king did a lot to make the "exile" as decent and survivable as possible. It's the other factions in the kingdom that are the issue.

tbf, there are lots of potential problems with what Elsa did. Conversely filling Yvonne up has very easy to predict and account for problems. the most major of which is where is Elsa getting the water, and can the ground absorb what she just did. hell, looking at the environment, it looks like the answer to those questions is "the wrong place" and "no".
