I do kinda wonder what happened to the premise of the villain system, though. It just kinda stopped being a thing at some point, but without a good reason that I can remember.

I'm pretty sure that the Villain System is implied to be the Curse and the time traveling and fighting Olivia lead to Elsa yoinking the curse from Yvonne and suppressing/purifying it, so she doesn't have that anymore, right? Also, Future Witch Elsa had been actively messing with the system to disrupt/destroy it.

A tower that has a door to another world that's never opened for anyone, eh? That seems way too specific to be anything other than a Chekov's Gun.

That makes me wonder if that's here as a device for Elsa to follow Yvonne back to Earth upon the conclusion of the novel or something.

I think that the Witchy Future Elsa may have gone through that door. She talked about the succubus blood love potion giving Yvonne "a health bar" and said she was "exploiting a bug," and later called Yvonne a "villainess," which is all very modern game terms. She also implied she was subject to "punishment" like Yvonne if she told her too much. I think it would be interesting if she performed a full loop like entering the real world and returning to the game just to help Evie back out.

Huh, did an arc got cut? My memory might be faulty because I read the web novel(?) probably like 3-4 years ago? But I remember there being a story arc between returning from her parents and the academy.

This. I didnt read the novel, and im at a complete loss why they're suddenly starting at the new school.

I thought they were supposed to go back to their other school and still "compete"? Based from the dinner conversatiom they had.

Was that just completely skipped? I mean, it is pretty obvious that elsa would top them all, but yaknow...

On the way back from the parents they meet the "witch" and temporary live with her, which causes quarrel, it ends up with them having make up sex and them going all the way for first time

Yeah, the Villainess System just kind of disappeared after chapter 58. There was the Restoration percentage on a chapter forever ago, but it just poofed after that. It wasn't the Curse because Yvonne didn't have the Curse when it was going on. Honestly, that was the part of the premise that was most unique, but I guess that's too hard to write around, just like how her father was actually a villain as well.

There have been a few points and details that have been either changed or completely ignored as time went on from what I've seen (I've been bingeing the series). Heck, even the first chapter where Elsa is talking to Dahlia about destined ones since she had already met Yvonne and declared that she was her destined one. It's bound to happen after more than 100 chapters though, so oh well.
