Because garbage like this exists, and trying to make a story where you redeem it is a difficult task that risks (And in this case, succeeds at) shattering the audience's suspension of disbelief. It's like that other Manga "The Day I Decided To Make My Cheeky Gyaru Sister Understand": It's an NTR story. FMC is an enthusiastic NTR slut, and she's cucking MC. Despite a very explicit showing in the fanbox section, we're supposed to believe she's a victim in the whole situation, and that she's going to be fixed with the barest of minimum TLC.

Get real. If you want to redeem your monsters, you need to make them people first. And this is failing so far. Unless the goal isn't to redeem her (which it seems like it is)

The mom is canonically garbage. I don't know what Fanboxes have to do with this.

Unless you're talking about Cheeky Gyaru. Which... I don't know if you've paid attention, but it's 100% canon. The story literally doesn't make sense if it isn't. If anything, I could say the main story is less canonical than the fanbox, since the fanbox at least keeps a more consistent characterization for her.

Yes, I meant gyaru. No, since author said it's not, it isn't. It may or may not make no sense, but just as it is with star wars under disney, who got them rights, got them rules(and before anything, no, I believe 95% of disney era produce was subpar at the least).

She had that out before she made chapter 4, which was almost exclusively dedicated to making all the Fanbox stuff explicitly canonical, in an infodump to set up her "improvement", for the audience which hadn't been following her animalistic sex trances behind the paywall. Like, it's shocking how effectively she can get information out while still making them really annoying.

Narrator: "They call her for sex."
Girl: "I forgot a thing."
Guy: "Man, we haven't done sex stuff in so long. I haven't ejaculated due to this, and my urges are strong! Come on in!"
Girl: "Bring it out here"
Guy: "Come on, don't be so selfish. Let's do more sex stuff!"
Girl: "Ok..."
One enthusiastic sex thing from the girl later
Cut to girl kneeling in front of the guy with stuff on her chin
Guy: "Man, that was refreshing. Let me call the usual guys over so we can have yet another 'drinking party'. And in the meantime, how about we do a more intense sex thing?"

All this in just a handful of pages. It was such a clear indication about what was happening that it spurred on the 20+ page comments section.

He was also in the academy at the time and thus under their thumb. His ability and freedom to do something is now massively increased.

Seems to me he wants to change the system or prove a better way. If he was overt about it, the factions in the academy would meddle with him in one way or another. If he flies under the radar, however, he can possibly change the system from within while looking like a cog of that system.

The fact that this dude risked permanent scarring/burns to go to Rosario's school for parent-teacher day and his immediate thought after escaping to safety was, "I wonder when the next parent-teacher day is?" shows that he's more attached than simply "you are my future meal."

Or this guy's an extremely intelligent sociopath, and logically reverse-engineered the rationale behind altruism. We're nice despite the difficulty and cost because that helps us reproduce better. Obviously a vampire could benefit from that too.
