I thought I read this already, but then I realized it was because I had watched part of the animated adaptation, and that's so much more like a motion comic than an actual animated show that I mistook my memory of that for having read the chapter.
I had to look it up. I can't believe that is a commercially produced anime; I have seen many higher quality flash animations (I judged based on the trailer and opening theme; usually those are the higher quality parts too, since trailer are to build hype, and OPs are recycled every episode)

Apothecary owner still the goat!
Or, at least he realizes it's not a good idea to alienate the golden goose that keeps bringing him potions.
He's met her twice, and as far as he knows, she's probably only an errand girl for someone else. He seems to be just a genuine guy who happens to own the apothecary shop (he gives the vibe of someone who does it more for the sake of the people who need it than the profit).

Also, I'd put the expensive magical bag inside her backpack. Less theft risk.
The way she did it actually kinda makes sense though. A modern backpack with zippers and plastic probably stands out way more than a magic bag. It seems like it was a relatively low-level magic bag too, so it might not be as big of a target for thieves, especially when they see it being carried by such a small girl. It's possible they'd think it's just a gift from her parents and she doesn't have much of value inside it.
I think this is one of the first times I've seen someone break down and cry at being isekai'd. Usually its anger or just "Meh whatever!"

I'm actually lookingnforward to this and her character development.
Yeah, it doesn't happen often, but it's always interesting seeing that sort of reaction in a character. Personally I often tend to lean towards hoping the character in these sorts of stories comes to like the world they find themselves in and wanting to stay, but I can absolutely understand wanting to go back home again.

there are other 'sudden' isekais via truck kun and overwork but a lot of those series even if they became young again, their other life in JP was miserable so they got over it pretty quickly as well as some ppl choosing to as well

interesting she needs the book too, hope she doesn't get it stolen from unless it just seems like a 'normal' value-less book to others watching her

It's nice a magic bag is so easily available as opposed to some unique thing she got provided with\
"I'll make it back to my own world" other than a merchant isekai i think itd be rare for that to happen ,never saw the anime so idk if it ended on a cliffhanger or she just gets used to living here

She's 17?!

Asian baby face aside, her uniform also looks more 'middle school' than high school as well compared to the other uniforms i've seen, unless it's the author's preference or easy to draw, tho the cover/anime poster does look more like a plain blue dress with a 'peter pan' collar, so i guess she'll change outfits eventually
