Yeah, I thought she'd be 14 or so, that looks like a middle school uniform. She's 17?!
Damn, I was gonna say it's kinda sad that this girl was isekai to this world when it feels like she doesn't want to be here and wants to see her family and friends. Even tho she looks like a child at least 14, the story so far feels sad. She's 17?!
I had to look it up. I can't believe that is a commercially produced anime; I have seen many higher quality flash animations (I judged based on the trailer and opening theme; usually those are the higher quality parts too, since trailer are to build hype, and OPs are recycled every episode)I thought I read this already, but then I realized it was because I had watched part of the animated adaptation, and that's so much more like a motion comic than an actual animated show that I mistook my memory of that for having read the chapter.
He's met her twice, and as far as he knows, she's probably only an errand girl for someone else. He seems to be just a genuine guy who happens to own the apothecary shop (he gives the vibe of someone who does it more for the sake of the people who need it than the profit).Apothecary owner still the goat!
Or, at least he realizes it's not a good idea to alienate the golden goose that keeps bringing him potions.
The way she did it actually kinda makes sense though. A modern backpack with zippers and plastic probably stands out way more than a magic bag. It seems like it was a relatively low-level magic bag too, so it might not be as big of a target for thieves, especially when they see it being carried by such a small girl. It's possible they'd think it's just a gift from her parents and she doesn't have much of value inside it.Also, I'd put the expensive magical bag inside her backpack. Less theft risk.
Yeah, it doesn't happen often, but it's always interesting seeing that sort of reaction in a character. Personally I often tend to lean towards hoping the character in these sorts of stories comes to like the world they find themselves in and wanting to stay, but I can absolutely understand wanting to go back home again.I think this is one of the first times I've seen someone break down and cry at being isekai'd. Usually its anger or just "Meh whatever!"
I'm actually lookingnforward to this and her character development.
