I'm currently working on it yep. I got a few series imported so at the moment I'm reading through the first few volumes to catch up. I'm a solo worker so it takes me a bit to do all the things involved. I'm hoping very soon i can maybe rotate titles.

The twist will be that the killer of Godai's family was Godai himself. Something like a version of him was sent to the past, it turns out his father was a corrupt and evil man which drove him insane and caused him to kill his family. Possibly involved in the organ trafficking which is why the family was turned into a meat pile. Hidaka is shady but basically redoing everything with Godai so Godai is able to go back into the past and stop himself.

He's not just sending Hidaka back randomly after all, he's clearly deliberately choosing cases that are intended to lead Godai back to his family's killer. Almost as if he already knows who did it. Alternately, it wasn't Godai at all and is all just a game to Hidaka and he created the perfect serial killer and is now creating the perfect investigator to stop him. I don't know, this is a trash series (but entertainingly trash) so I'm fully expecting the revelation of the killer and what Hidaka's doing to be something very obvious and/or very stupid.
