Hi Pura Vida Translations team,
I wanted to ask if you would consider translating a manga if I requested it. The English scanlation group has stopped working on it, the official K Manga app updates chapters very slowly, it’s paywalled (so people who can’t afford the subscription are locked out), and the series is also geo-blocked in many regions.
I really hope you’ll consider my request! By the way, do you have a Discord server?

Looking to get in touch with andyarc1995 to discuss the manga "Munou to Yobareta "Seirei Tarashi" ~Jitsuwa Inou de, Seirei Kaide wa Densetsuteki Hero Deshita~".
Our scan group recently received a commission request to work on this title and I'd like to avoid sniping from other groups at all costs. I'm not sure if I'm reading this site's UI properly in regards to translators, but if I am, I appreciate your translations of Mob kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyuutan!

Which SCUNet model did you use? Can this model remove halftones?
I mainly use a combination of Halftone Clear 90% and Halftone 10% (two ESRGAN models available in the archive at nmkd.de/shared/; an archive by n00mkrad) through ChaiNNer nightly, then convert to greyscale and increase the brightness by +3.3% to restore it.

P.S. I suggest you to reconvert in grayscale at the end for grayscale since AI models tend to give color aberration. Also, another way to reduce image files, is to convert in WebP lossless (since JXL doesn't have enouth browser support; only enabling through flags).

Thanks but the one that does the TL, CLRD, RD and partial typeset is goro, I am just the one that changes the font for the text and moves around text to make it look cool lol

for upscaling this is the chain I usually use for most mangas, now that you mention the greyscale I might need to move it to the end of the chain lol



And if the quality is too bad and blurry I use this one instead



Now that I have more time, I'll start experimenting with other models and see which works best for plain upscale
