So for the FIRST QUESTION: Hmm, while I'm usually not up-to-date with modern terminology. HOWEVER, because of that Scourge of a Being "Whatever-his-name-is" Paul, I do understand what this means. Or maybe I'm mistaking the semi-synonymous "Larping" for "Tourists". Though I do think they're semi-synonymous enough to mean I've a grasp of the meaning.
Anyways! I feel its odd. Why pretend to like something? I see why celebrities do it (for attention, and to lure members of a new fanbase over) but normal folk like you or me?
But... I do have to admit I guess I have been tourist-esque in the past. But in those situations I wasn't really pretending to like that thing, I was merely being subjected to it.
For our second question: I do believe these tourists do hurt the communities/franchises they target to some capacity in multiple ways:

1. They set up false impressions, reflecting themselves on the franchise, and/or vice versa to lure.
2. They will likely gain influence enough to influence the very property itself.
3. (And more personally), this attracted attention can begin to divide fanbases

For the last question: That I do not know for sure; This is a Manga Forum, so I'd like to think the people here have read at least one manga. I hope...

121: they are the scum of the earth. Lowest of the low. Why don’t you actually get into the fandom instead of gooning to the characters? Are you scared, poser? You’re scared that everyone will view you as a creep and kick you out? Then don’t “larp” the fandom, simple!
121.1: it’s a detriment to all spaces. I think they should be eliminated.
121.2: I bet some of them are. I wouldn’t be surprised if the big leagues were.
