In twelve and a half years at this job, I've never called in sick and only left work early once for illness. It's not like getting to my job was hard when I was in an office.

It also helps that every year I get:

• 5 sick days (which can be used for medical appointments - I average about four half-days a year this way)
• 2 personal days
• 11 paid holidays
• Summer half-Fridays from May-September (and those can be juggled - work a full Friday this week, get a full Friday off next week)
• 5 weeks paid vacation

The biggest challenge is figuring out how to use all the vacation, since what doesn't get used disappears at the end of the year.

Depends on for what and how late I am. I'm usually careful with important things.
I try to get in even if I'm late and might have to suffer a little bit of embarrassment.
Wouldn't avoid work or education unless I'm really sick or have something else to do.

A perfect question for this situation would be "How do i stop myself from bedrotting all day"
