I am willing to forgive a lot, but just having him and that rando 13th Seat alive both fly in the face of the whole "if you kill the king the whole bloodline will die."

I really hate it when authors explicitly state rules in order to create tension, and then break them whenever it's convenient for the narrative.

If I had to throw out an educated guess it's probably because their bloodline has two rulers. Even if Crimson abandoned the bloodline he's still no less of a Monarch. That or, more likely, what was meant by that line is that a bloodline without a proper Monarch can't add new family members and thus is destined to slowly die out like an ant colony missing its queen.

I'm not upset that Nephilim is alive, it's neat to have him as a consistent threat across the story. But how is he alive? Don't know. Maybe because Tia was just one of thousands of Carla's, he's not dead?

I have my theory here is that it's because of that Thunder Claw he's using. He's only joined for a day so it's still too early for him to be given a personal Demonic sword, so that must be Kamui's and somehow it managed to save his life I guess

couple things:

1. how is this pain in the ass nephilim still not dead? AND his hair turns white? Is this motherfucker meant to be ken kaneki? I get he's meant to be, like, sorta a mirror against our MC but this is overdrawn.

2. Putting the above aside, though, I am interested in how leo would deal with all this when they meet Ragna again.

3. Oh haha the Claw Bloodline is going somewhere new, this will surely make the setting more re-AMERICA?!?! TRPG? The implication of this, + Crimson being almost Tech-oriented as a dragon seems to imply some sort of connection to an in-series counterpart to "modern society". I wonder what the author will do with that.
