I'm sad that they couldn't extend her life even further, but I'm glad he gave her what he could. And in the end he made a difference in her life and she made one in his.

She survived for an extra 5 months past what she was expected to live, Rain was a fighter that's for sure. And I think Rain did make a difference in Claroa life, the pages turning from being black to white on page 7 shows that his perspective may have changed.

I'm not used to bittersweet endings and I don't think I will ever be, this author always hits me really hard with his bitter stories, it was the same with Taihai no Hanauri, I hope the little witch story has a bit of comfyness instead of being a somber story.

Was hoping for a happy ending, but it was obvious it will be bittersweet... I'm such a fool...

While it would be so much better if Rain could enjoy the life to the fullest, at least the final 3 years AND extra 5 months gave her well deserved joy.

Claroa didn't receive what he hoped for, but in return get what he lost, family he really really yearned for for at least couple years...

Pretty good story, way too short, but it made the pain less traumatic to not "enjoy".
