@starbright i think it's called the girl from ranchatting because it's the concept that drives the plot and him to change, not that he is going to end up with a girl from ranchatting. So I highly doubt and really hope he doesnt end up with sung ha.

Especially when hamin and yuri are sooo much better. Hamin best girl.

Man I wish Joonwoo wouldn't follow these people around like a lost puppy. He keeps getting hurt by it. The boy needs to find himself, get passionate about something other than having people like him. If you devote yourself to something worthwhile that you can enjoy, you heal yourself along the way. I don't give a shit what it is, arts, community service, nature, cooking, anything. Right now, he's completely hollow and anything they do can shatter him.

Also, what is wrong with this boy's parents. Why haven't they talked to him after he's come back half dead on more than one occasion. They haven't even had screen time and I'm already disgusted by them.

a little bit? that dude is a huge fucking stalker, hes just descently content with his situation to not step out of his current comfortzone with her (tho i hope after this chapter that something will change, preferably that she discovers who he is in the next few chapters but i doubt it)

I don't know whether I consider that last bit where he tried to eavesdrop as stalking in the strictest sense but he definitely is proving what sung ah was saying about him behind his back. The whole ranchatting thing and mc keeping it a secret is unhealthy for both of them and their relationship so the situation devolved into what it is. He needs to just cut it off asap

@Korpi93 He never purposely contacted her and kept his identity a secret. It was random, pure chance that he started talking to her at all. Him trying to stop the real stalker and giving her advice posing as a stranger I don't consider stalking. Him getting the idea to go to the beach because of her instagram picture is a little weird, but I don't think he had any intention of bumping into them, if he did he's a flat out stalker. Now him following the two of them thinking she's going to confess just about crosses the line, probably does. They're all "friends" a little eavesdropping probably wouldn't be considered stalking, but considering everything else it kind of is. He's certainly being creepy like she thinks he is, but I wouldn't say he's a stalker.

To call him a stalker is much we've all stared at our crushes or chicks we find hot in general. And when he realized the distance between the real her seems he will give up

Yes, obviously, we all had girls we liked and looked at them, but we (probably) didn't :
-Talked to her with a fake identity, to learn more about her in secret
-Stalking her/following her because she's with another guy
-Making her (and the others) think you're a huge creep because of your attitude.

Junwoo IS a stalker now, the only difference with the other guy is not huge, he is just less aggressive, nothing more.

I really hope he will grow as a character and become way better, because i really hate him now, same for sungwag.
Thanks god Korean bakugou/hamin/others characters are here.

"there's that boy who's in my class and friends with a bunch of the people i'm hanging out with, i'll invite him to hang out"
"man it's really creepy how this guy is hanging out with me"
mc went to the beach with his friend and she came up to invite him, he was just hanging out with his gaming buddy
sungah is the absolute worst girl, knowing that she will win is immeasurably saddening
still a good manga, definitely keeps the drama going and the mc is neurotic but self-aware and not dense like 99% of other mcs

@Siquall

He didnt know he was originally anonymously talking to her and he wanted to say its him a couple times but knew it wouldnt end well.

Also pretty much everytime sungah approachs him he only followed that time because he knew the confession was coming its not like he tails her everywhere she goes.

So this most recent chapter (44) has highlighted what I think is probably the biggest problem with the 'main' ship, that we don't get to see most of the Random Chatting. In the beginning we got to see some of it like the music but there's been a running theme of 'implying' that they're having casual chatting and getting along without showing it, and that's honestly a major problem. Sure I can get why she'd care about the stranger on her phone when he helps her out in a pinch but he's not the only one who's helped her out, let's see them just causally getting along without the MC using it as an opportunity to 'happen' to run into her at the vending machine or something. Show us the chemistry these two have over the app, as that would give us an opportunity to understand what's her face similar to how we understand Hamin and Yuri as well as establishing that while the 'other girls' might be fun and have some interest in him they don't have the same sort of connection as main girl has. I get the random chatting was a hook to start off the plot but it really should be show-cased more, that way I can get behind the ship of how these two want to get together easier, until then all this drama about the MC being a creep and chasing after main girl when I'd be fine if he went after either of the other girls (Yuri's got enough history and chemistry that I'd be fine with her moving in instead of Hamin) just feels frustrating and leaves me thinking that this is actually supposed to be a martial arts comic.

Also while I've got to agree with some commenters that MC being at the beach shouldn't have really given off stalker vibes (in of itself) given that she intended to invite him, SHE found HIM, and he was with his own friend in an area that was just nearby where they were (also keep in mind that as established at school, going to the beach seemed like a fun idea to many), but then you remember how the dodgeball game went, the vending machine scene, and how he did end up in the same club as her despite probably not showing a ton of interest or skill at debating in the club, I can get why she might take something that may have otherwise come off as coincidence as a sign of stalking. MC hasn't exactly been covering up the obvious tracks that he likes her, so I'll give her some leeway in thinking something that could easily be innocent as being more because MC has a pattern of behavior to support her theory, even without considering all the things he's done that she doesn't know about.

So, if I'm getting this right from ch.44, the whole reason class rep was trying to stop MC from using random chatting is less about wanting to protect Sungah and more like "I fear she likes him"? I mean the whole lecture he gave MC kind of makes sense, but It feels like class rep's reasons are as selfish as MC's.

It's only a problem if you focus too much on ships. This webtoon might not deserve a Martial Arts tag, but clearly the Action tag has some weight.
40+ chapters in, I think we can say that the MC going after girls won't play a huge part. At best, Sungah is a distant goal, what started the journey and should push the MC to better himself. We don't get to see most of the RanChat because it's probably mostly small talk and not all that often during the day. When something relevant happens, we always see it.

To me, the title is all about the MC facing one day the girl from random chatting and of course it's more appealing if he has a crush on her. But I believe 90% of the story is about Joonwoo opening up to others, mending fences, standing up for himself (by facing all the thugs who ruined his life, and I expect it to be quite often at the center) and getting over his gigantic inferiority complex bordering on paranoia. Until Joonwoo starts getting his shit together, romance stuff can't really happen irl and it's bound to stay a small part of the story compared to action/drama.

Still questioning why this has a comedy tag.
What part of it is supposed to be comedy?
