At this point I’d rather Learn how to read and write japanese so I can read the Raws
Edit: it apparently takes like 3-20 days for hiragana characters which are the ones that look like they got circles ま katanaka takes 3-20 days to learn and it’s the one with lines and stuff like this ワ and kanji which is so shit it got 2000 words it looks like Chinese letters 輪 and it takes take 1-3years to learn in total it’ll take like 3 -4 years for normal people to learn and considering how I’m bad when it comes to languages it’ll take me like 6 years on top of that learning words meanings extra 4 years so 10 years in total not worth it honestly

Yuuma is the real protag of this, a refreshing one that is. Right now ataru's just someone who learned too much and clearly is messing up while trying to fix things that went wrong. So I just can't get the people complaining about the change (didn't even know they exist) when he literally wasn't the protag from the beginning and only added his POV as the 1st 10 chaps later on to make things clearer.

I've read this manga somewhere else, I didn't know how far I went, so I've decided to reread it. And now it all came back to me: I've stopped reading it because it was stupid. You know about suspension of disbelief, right? It's impossible for me to do it while reading that. I can't. I can't fathom how what happen in this manga would happen in real life, especially the characters' reactions (and more importantly, the background characters). They are just plain stupid. It's just impossible.
Right now, I'm at chapter 24, and reading Real Account is like listening to someone constantly scratching a chalkboard with their fingernails.

Well, I guess it's a shounen, so the psychological portrayal of the characters is not its forte. But when I find dumb characters like Goku or Luffy more interesting or more believable than 99% of the characters in manga (background characters included), I can't think of it as good.

Got to chapter 53 and just stopped.
The beginning and premise was awesome, I loved it.
But the moment they made the mc a bad guy and then fucking derailed the whole plot and story with random stuff that was totally unrelated to the original premise was horrible. And after that it just went downhill.

Characters that have mood shifts every two seconds, people rampantly killing each other for money, as if that would happen in real life (no one in real life would kill someone else just for a few thousand bucks, especially if that person fucking exploded in blood.

Overall, starts gold but turns to crap.

First time writing a comment here but i feel the need to do so after reading some comments.

People saying that the manga isn't realistic...no shit sherlock...what is next? Youjo Senki isn't realistic because "no one" in modern age would kill another man?

The manga is good for a quick read and is more of a critic of the modern days with fantasy elements and just like the critics in modern era, you should skim through and then evaluate it for yourself.

I think the rating for the manga is "fair", it would totally be around 6 and 8 since it lacks in some aspects but isn't what some people are making it to be.

@baluranha Well, Youjo Senki MC is probably a pyschopath, he show quite some signs of it (you don't necessarily become a murderer if you are psychopath, you just lack empathy), so him going killing others is not a problem.

But the problem here is that a lot of characters are inconsistent, going from one point to another in the personality shift.
