It seems like the story is axed because the maid and the knight girl didn't have any development or romantic moments with Machino at all. Quite the same for the fox girls as well. This story will be much better if there only Sofia and Olivia.

Alright now I’m annoyed 😑 this chapter felt so much better than the date with Sofia and Sofia as a character feels like it’s barely been developped at all, but she’s the one who’s picked? Idk if she’d had an arc at least half as good as Olivia’s I would get it but this just feels forced
It should have been Olivia or, even better, a good ol’ poly route, but of course harem writers never have the balls to go for that "-"
My disappointment is immeasurable. Hope the last chapter will find a way to fix this but I don’t have much faith left in me

It seems like this will be merely a decent series that will pass quickly from my mind once it’s over. It had the opportunity to be more—to do something unique and memorable—but that has been squandered.

I think my overall impression of this manga will still continue to be positive, but my first thought will always be about what could have been.

It is somewhat astonishing to see this manga seemingly setting up for the most unimaginative route to take for the final chapter, when the writing up to this point was actually much more interesting than I would have expected to get from this premise.

I was seeing signs this was going to be axed since the knight and the maid were presented at the same time, a classic move by authors walking the axe line is to throw new characters into the mix and see if it changes something, unfortunately it looks like it did not, quite a few ideas where underdeveloped and the (soon to be) ending is rushing to have any conclusion. A shame, but I have seen many authors recover from a axe and come back stronger, I liked the first half, that is enough for me to keep a eye on any future work this author comes up with
