So one thing I keep wondering about: is the "7 million years of human history" thing an english mistake on the author's part or something? I don't see how it makes sense in the context of this manga for it to be anything but 7 thousand. We don't really have any mythology going back further than that and they said that they meet every 1000 years to decide about humanity's fate, so they're supposed to have met 7000 times now? What did they even have to talk about during the 6900 times when humans were doing nothing but banging rocks together?
