@isekaiweeb Yeah, they're really bad about making the warrior hierarchy clear. I think Egane, Vibli, Yaremaha and... the one whose name escapes me, are roughly of equal rank.

Even if Egane were the leader of the highest ranked warriors, whether he's there right this second or not is another matter. Yaremaha is heading back to the borders to man the defenses there, but, obviously someone is still there. Even if it's the Glow's birthday or whatever it was, they can't exactly pull all of their military from their posts. Especially the areas they only just got in that little war a while back. Perhaps this all went down while Yaremaha was the only one of those military leaders who was able to be present.

He is left to at the Sand Water Oasis to guard against the Shaururi Tribe.

To be exact there are 4 Four Force Masters who are the guardian of the Peria Tribe's four directions. Hence Yaremaha choice to return to their duties back to the border.

I disagree, because he should weigh the consequence and see the overall situation. To be precise Yaremaha just remove the semblance of offically recognized senior authority that the tribe needed the most.

Which Yaremaha will later on regret then blame himself and his hasty decision.
